Kalidas joined Concur as Managing Director and CEO in Oct 2015. Kalidas provides the direction & vision for growth, and sets the tone for the company's values, ethics and culture.
In his 28-year career with Geometric, Godrej and Navabharath Group, Kalidas covered leadership positions in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Technical Product Management and Manufacturing. As President of Global Sales and Marketing at Geometric, he helped the company to transform itself from a 40 people India-centric organization to a 4800 people global organization, both organically and inorganically through joint ventures, acquisitions and alliances. With an insight into customer needs, he leverages his knowledge, in PLM IT, Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology, to innovate, map and actualize differentiated "out of the frame" technical solutions & business models and create winning alternatives.
Kalidas holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University and underwent a rigorous executive education in General Management in INSEAD, Paris, France. He has also attended various leadership programs at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India.
Cricket in the New England area was introduced by Kalidas and in the late 90's and even today, he finds time to play the sport actively. He also uses this passion for raising funds for social causes. Kalidas plays tag football and volleyball. Kalidas is a big foodie and he also experiments with food and prepares dishes that are not commonplace.
Kalidas is extremely family-oriented and resides in Nashua, NH, USA with his wife Padmaja and his beautiful & multi-talented daughter Sahaja. His elder daughter Sahiti is a Mechanical Engineer from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York and works as a Sr. Analyst at a leading Media & Marketing Big Data Analytics firm in New York, NY.
Kalidas is actively involved with various charitable organizations and, social causes. He is on the executive and advisory committees of various non-political Indian community organizations in the Greater Boston Area. Kalidas, in his personal capacity, supports an orphanage with over 300 children and he actively contributes for the development of rural education in India. Kalidas is extremely fun loving and he always believes that there should be laughter and fun in the corridors of the organization.
