Prototyping and Testing

Prototyping is the design verification phase of Product Development and is used to demonstrate or prove aspects of a design. Once the design has been verified for technical and functional specifications virtually (through digital calculations, simulations and process verifications), Concur, through its partner ecosystem, helps its customers to build and test a physical prototype. This prototype can then be subjected to various tests in a physical environment. This serves the dual purpose of checking if the product adheres to design specifications and fine tuning the design specifications to optimally fit the real world conditions. In parallel, Concur collaborates with its clients to build a Production Quotation which addresses the process and Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements of sourcing and manufacturing a cheaper, easier, lighter, faster, stronger and better product.
